West Ham United confirm 4 players will leave the team after the end of the season

West Ham United can confirm that Aaron Cresswell, Lukasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal and Danny Ings will all leave the club at the end of the season.

West Ham have the oldest side in the Premier League but will be looking to overhaul their squad this summer.

Fabianski, 40, Cresswell, 35, Coufal, 32 and Ings, 32. Were all part of the squad that won the 2023 Conference League – the club’s first European triumph since 1965.

For Cresswell, leaving the Hammers will also bring an end to an 11-year spell at the club having joined from Ipswich Town in 2014.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Aaron, Lukasz, Vladimir and Danny during my time in charge. And their respect for their team-mates and everyone at the club have made them a great asset to the club,” manager Graham Potter said.

“We’ve got three big games left this season and I know they will be 100 per cent focused on helping the team in any way we can. But we also felt it was important to confirm this news to show respect for them and what they’ve given to the club so the supporters can show their appreciation at our final home game of the season.”

They have already avoided relegation but sit 17th in the Premier League table with games against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town still to play.
