Stuttgart striker El Bilal Toure, 23, has suffered a fractured metatarsal while playing for Mali and will be out for months.

Stuttgart confirmed on Saturday that El Bilal Toure will be out for several months. After the 23-year-old forward underwent surgery to fix a metatarsal fracture he suffered while playing for Mali, Ufabet Germany reports.

Toure was injury during Mali’s 6-0 win over Eswatini in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and was withdraw in the 40th minute. But the Whites were later given the bad news that the 23-year-old forward had fractured his metatarsal bone. And would need surgery and be out for several months.

Stuttgart were previously without Deniz Undav for the rest of the season after the 28-year-old tore a hamstring in training on Wednesday. While Promotion ufabet Jamie Lewelling is also struggling.

Toure joined Stuttgart from Atalanta in the summer on a one-year loan deal with an option to make the deal permanent. He scored three goals in 13 appearances in all competitions for the White Horse. Before the 23-year-old suffered an injury that kept him out for a while.

Later today, Stuttgart host Bochum as they return to Bundesliga action. VfB will have to rely on Fabian Rieder, Nick Woltemade. And potentially even Justin Diehl to step up as Stuttgart have a favourable run of fixtures heading towards the winter break.
