Modric was approached by a Saudi Arabian club last summer. But the 38-year-old midfielder has turned down big offers from the Middle East. Because he wants to continue his football career with Real Madrid on a new one-year deal. 

However, Modric’s role with Carlo Ancelotti’s side has clearly diminished. Much to the 38-year-old’s frustration, and the player is reported to be reconsidering his options. The latter has only had the chance to start 6 times out of 16 games this season and has played just 617 minutes. 

According to reports, Modric is the target of interest from Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly.
